Call for Applications: Sponsored Place at TAPRA Conference Performance Training Working Group

TDPT and TAPRA Performance Training Working Group seek to sponsor a practitioner, artist and/or researcher to attend the Performance Training Working Group at the annual TAPRA conference from 2nd- 4th September 2026, held at Queen Mary University London In return, we ask that the recipient will write an event review of the conference for potential publication in TDPT.

We are looking to support someone who would be otherwise unable to attend the conference due to a lack of institutional funding/affiliation or any other economic barriers. We particularly welcome applications from artists and practitioners interested in performance training.

We will offer the recipient up to £500 to help with conference attendance costs, such as conference fees, travel, accommodation or other related expenses.

Our only eligibility criteria is that the recipient has not previously published in TDPT, to encourage new voices to publish in our journal.

To apply, please send up to 250 words outlining why you wish to attend the Performance Training Working Group this year to Sarah (s.weston@qub.ac.uk), James (J.A.McLaughlin@greenwich.ac.uk), and performertraining@tapra.org

The deadline is Monday 22nd June by 5pm.
